Cat furniture is hideous. I say that with very few exceptions.

 

We reached a point where my wife and I loved everything in our home, except the cat tree in the corner. Getting rid of it completely wasn’t an option - the cats loved it. So I set out to make a cat tree that wouldn’t look out of place in a Danish furniture catalogue.

 

I built the entire piece from cherry, with brass fittings and a mid-century-style fabric. 

 

I love it. Wife loves it. Cats love it.
