ANOTHER LEAP

In 1969, astronaut Neil Armstrong took a photo of Buzz Aldrin standing next to the American flag planted on the moon. That same year, my Mom, aged 19, took a polaroid of Armstrong’s photo when it appeared on her TV set. That photo is on my wall.

At the time, that scene reflected the greatest heights of human technological achievement, inspiring so many by what more was possible.

In honour of that moment, I created an AI script to generate hundreds of versions of that photo, and built a frame to cycle through them. The images, each individually generated, inspire me as my Mom was once inspired. Amazed by the technology before us, and fascinated by what lies beyond.
