I had no experience with leather, so I bought an entire cow. 

 

That’s a true story. My first leather purchase was an entire hide. And my first project was just as outlandish. I had recently acquired an entire set of 150 Prismacolor coloured pencils. So instead of the traditional artist’s tool roll that holds 12 or 16, I created the world’s first to hold the entire set. 

 

Impractical, unwieldy and ridiculous. Yes. So much fun to make.
