CANADIAN NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR THE BLIND

I wanted to create the first brand identity that wasn’t designed to be seen. In collaboration with members of Toronto’s visually impaired community, we developed a physical texture to represent the brand - a series of raised bumps that go from chaotic to orderly and harmonious as you run your fingers along them. The felt message reflects the brand’s mission - the turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones and help overcome the thousands of daily challenges of slight loss.
