In a locked-down world, we created a new reason for local Canadians to take a drive to Niagara Falls. It’s not for the funnel cake, or the rides, or the lights. No, it’s because the Falls are close enough to go to on a whim, and just far enough away to feel like you’ve really taken a trip.
The dialogue-free spots were a much-needed moment of silence on local TV, which may help explain why they connected so well with audiences and became Niagara Falls’ most successful work ever made.
